Serra Clubs are known primarily for their work with current seminarians and priests. However, Club 25 has expanded this mission to include retired priests. We celebrate their contributions by occasional lunches with them at nice Kansas City restaurants. This activity helps promote esprit among this occasionally forgotten group of faithful servants of the Church. Although a few serve in parishes when pastors are unable to do so, their being together informally with Serra Club members provides an outlet that is very appreciated. And who doesn’t like a good steak?!
