Priests and Seminarians Appreciation Day
Traditionally held in September, this event involves priests and seminarians from both the KC-St. J. and KCK Dioceses. They play golf at Iron Gate Golf Club Country Club and then spend time together eating a catered meal of BBQ with all the fixing’s. For those who are not golfers, we sponsor poker, Texas-Hold’em card games, and other fun activities prior to the meal. In addition to the golf and togetherness, prizes are awarded for the best golfers and even new black suits for clerical participants. It’s a day of togetherness when the primary goal is the pleasure of the men who serve our parishes so well.
