Serra’s primary focus is to address the following areas:
• Foster and promote vocations to the priesthood, deaconate and religious life
• Support active and retired priests and religious
• Recognize God’s call to our own holiness.
Issues of leadership and ministry are at the heart of the Church’s life today. The Church needs dedicated and talented leaders in ordained and vowed ministry.
There is no Christian life in the secular world unless the layperson takes it there. The world needs dedicated farmers, executives, teachers, laborers and volunteers who feel called to witness to the Gospels at work, in the home and in the community. Serra is devoted to developing that sense of call through nurturing spiritual growth and building knowledge of the faith.
